Students from Tartu Art School and Pallas University of Applied Sciences now have access to a new database ESTERlink opens on new page.
It has collection from the 18 largest libraries in Estonialink opens on new page. There are also data available from university libraries. It was created back in 1999 and has been improved over the years, but at the moment the access to some libraries is not available.
This database is maintained by ELNET Konsortsiumlink opens on new page and it consists of books, newspapers, sound recordings, online resources etc. Articles that were published in Estonian newspapers are available in the ISE databaselink opens on new page.
ESTER allows:
- to search for data by entering names of authors, titles or keywords
- to find a book and other published works
- to find location of a book at a library
- to know if a book is available
- to reserve a book for reading
- to use other services, for example, online databases
- to give feedback to a library
- to find out more about soon-to-be-available workslink opens on new page
- to stay updated on the latest news from libraries
